Our chapter maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward hazing. Hazing has no place in Delta Chi and is inconsistent with our values of friendship, character, justice, and education. Every new member deserves a safe, respectful, and positive experience.
We also promote responsible behavior, educational programming, and risk management practices designed to help our members make sound decisions and care for one another.

No. Delta Chi prohibits hazing in all forms. The Troy Chapter is committed to providing every member with a safe, respectful, and positive membership experience consistent with the policies of Delta Chi International and Troy University.

Yes. Throughout the year, the chapter hosts events that welcome parents, families, alumni, and supporters. We encourage families to stay connected and celebrate our members' accomplishments.

Fathers or other male relatives are potential candidates for alumni initiation. An alumnus initiate is someone selected by an undergraduate chapter to be initiated into the Bond. He is someone whom the undergraduate members believe can enhance the Fraternity. An alumnus initiate cannot be an initiated member of any other college social fraternity.
Parents’ or Moms’ Clubs are a great way for you to get involved with your sons’ chapters. Parents’ Clubs play a role in the organizing of parents’ weekends, homecoming, house improvements and decorations, fundraisers, finals care packages, etc.

Who oversees the chapter?
The Troy Chapter is supported by Delta Chi International, Regional Area Counselors, alumni advisors, and Troy University, providing guidance and oversight to help ensure a positive member experience.

My Son Is Ready to Join. What's Next?
If your son is interested in learning more about Delta Chi, we'd love the opportunity to meet him.
Whether he's an incoming freshman, transfer student, or current Troy University student, completing a referral is the first step in connecting with our Recruitment Team. Once we receive the referral, a chapter representative will reach out to answer questions, provide information about recruitment events, and help him learn more about the Delta Chi experience.
Parents are welcome to submit a referral on behalf of their son, or prospective members may complete the form themselves. Just make sure to list the Chapter as Troy, so the referral is directed to the correct group.
