Delta Chi Fraternity
Building Better Men Since 1890
Founded on October 13, 1890, at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Delta Chi was established by a group of law students who believed a fraternity should be built on friendship, character, leadership, and personal growth. Rather than focusing on social status or exclusivity, the founders envisioned an organization where members challenged one another to become better students, leaders, and citizens.
Today, Delta Chi has grown into one of North America's largest international fraternities, with more than 140 active chapters and colonies and over 120,000 initiated members. Brothers can be found in nearly every profession, creating a lifelong network that extends well beyond the college experience.

Our Founding Principles
At the heart of Delta Chi are four enduring principles that have guided the fraternity for more than 135 years.
Friendship
True brotherhood begins with genuine friendship. Delta Chi encourages meaningful relationships built on trust, respect, and shared experiences that continue long after graduation.
Justice
Justice represents fairness, accountability, and respect for others. Delta Chi encourages members to lead with honesty, make principled decisions, and treat every individual with dignity.
Character
Members are expected to demonstrate integrity, responsibility, and ethical leadership both on campus and throughout their lives. Character is developed through everyday actions and a commitment to doing what is right.
Education

Leadership and Service
